Cadets of 604 Moose RCACS will be participating in a field training exercise at the Wyndham-Carseland Group C camping area on the weekend of 24 to 26 of May 19. Cadets will participate in a series of safe, challenging, fun and well-organized activities and classes, learning material relevant to Aircrew Survival.
THIS ACTIVITY IS MANDATORY FOR ANY CADET WHO DID NOT PARTICIPATE ON THE FTX IN NOVEMBER.

Prior to arriving at Mewata Armoury on 24 May 19 all cadets shall have eaten a meal. No meals will be provided on the evening of 24 May. Cadets are not permitted to bring personal snacks or food for the weekend as this has the potential to attract wildlife.
Drop off: 24 May 19 at 1700 hrs at Mewata. A mandatory kit check will take place prior to departure, a signed copy of both the consent forms attached to this announcement must be handed in at the time of drop off. Cadets who do not have signed consent forms or are not properly equipped for the weekend will not be permitted to attend. A kit list is attached to this announcement. If a cadet needs a rucksack to pack their gear in please see the Supply Officer on Tuesday 21 May.
Pickup: 26 May 19 at 1600 hrs at Mewata. Parents/Guardians please do not be late picking up your cadet.
Cadets will be transported from Mewata Armoury to the campsite via bus. We will be eating MRE’s (meals ready to eat) for the duration of the weekend. Cadets with specific dietary needs should inform the Officer in Charge via email.
Potable drinking water will be available. Cadets will be sleeping in tents.
