There are a few conventions that must be observed when working with the Cadet organization.
- Visitors are never allowed to walk across the parade square during the evening. There are usually parade square markers set out at the four corners of the square that define the area boundaries. This training space is reserved exclusively for the cadets and officers.
- When the flag is raised or lowered everyone in attendance is expected to stand still, remove their hats and give full attention to our National Flag. The cadets stand at attention during this time and everyone else is expected of the same.
- Parents or guardians are free to speak to any of the Officer Staff while visiting the Squadron, however, the Squadron operates on the basis of a Chain of Command and observance of this structure is appreciated.
All concerns should be brought to the attention of either the Chairman or another member of the Executive Committee. (They wear a red lanyard with a registered volunteer badge.) Concerns will then be passed onto the Officer Staff by an Executive Committee Member.
